1. 확인 하기
[root@theko ~]# authconfig --test | grep password
shadow passwords are enabled
password hashing algorithm is sha512
# 기본적으로 sha512 으로 설정 되어있다.
2. 변경 하기
1) 명령어로 변경
# authconfig --passalgo=md5 --update
2) 설정 파일 수정으로 변경 하기
# cat /etc/pam.d/system-auth | grep sha512
# cat /etc/sysconfig/authconfig | grep sha512
3) 적용하기
# pwunconv
# pwconv
# 적용하면 먼저 있던 애들은 바뀌지 않고 앞으로 생성되거나, 패스워드 변경하는 애들만 적용
